Experience the famous Napaling Reef sardine run in Panglao, Bohol, a unique marine experience where you can swim alongside thousands of sardines in the clear waters of the reef.
This is a short morning snorkeling and freediving tour at the Napaling Reef site, accompanied by a friendly and professional local guide. Snorkeling masks, tubes, short fins, and life vests are provided, so you can simply enjoy the experience and explore the waters at your own pace.
You can choose to snorkel or free dive during the experience. If you would like to free dive, please make sure you have sufficient knowledge and experience in freediving. This is not a freediving discovery or introductory tour, so guests should already be comfortable with proper freediving techniques and safety practices. Long fins are required for freediving and are available as an upgrade.
Your guide will assist you throughout the activity and will also take photos of you in the water, so you can bring home memorable snapshots of your Napaling Reef adventure. You will provide the camera to the guide or you can rent with us instead.
Please remember that the Napaling Reef sardine run is a natural and seasonal phenomenon. The number, location, and behavior of the sardines can vary depending on natural conditions, and sightings cannot be guaranteed on every visit.

Destination Reminders: Sardine Run at Napaling Reef: The sardine run at Napaling Reef is a natural and seasonal phenomenon. The presence, size, and location of the sardine school can vary depending on weather, sea conditions, water temperature, and other natural factors. While we will do our best to provide the best possible experience, sighting the sardines cannot be guaranteed on every tour. Please consider this before booking, as the availability and behavior of the sardines are beyond our control. By booking this experience, you acknowledge that the sardine run is a natural attraction and that its presence may vary from day to day.
Pick-Up Locations: We provide pick-up and drop-off services only from accommodations located in the municipality of Panglao. Additional fees may apply if you are coming from other municipalities (such as Dauis and Tagbilaran) outside these areas.
Possible Cancellations: If the Philippine Coast Guard reports worsening sea conditions or a developing low-pressure area (including typhoons), the tour will be cancelled. Guests will automatically be eligible for a full refund or may choose to reschedule the tour to another date.
Itinerary Confirmation: Please ensure that the contact number you provided is active on WhatsApp. Kindly have WhatsApp installed and keep your line open to avoid any no-show issues.
The cut-off time for next-day bookings is 9:00 PM GMT+8. The booking date may be rescheduled, subject to availability. The reservation fee or full payment amount is non-refundable once the reservation is confirmed. Add-ons that are unused or canceled by the customer are non-refundable. The remaining balance must be paid at least one day before the tour.
